Summer is winding down, but our event calendar isn't! Join us at any of the following events to meet the people behind Proper and see how we're showing up for our local communities. Here is everywhere you can find Proper Cannabis out and about this month, from sunrise bike rides to movies under the stars.


Pedal The Cause Training Ride

Saturday, August 1st | 7:00am check-in, 7:30am start time

(4 Hands Kirkwood, 150 W Argonne Dr., Kirkwood, MO)

This training ride is presented by Pedal the Cause in preparation for  Pedal the Cause 2026, with course options of 15.5, 23, or 36 miles for all skill levels. After the ride, the outdoor patio at 4 Hands Brewery - Kirkwood hosts live music (10am-1pm) and food from Peacemaker Lobster & Crab, plus a cold Pedal the Cause City Wide beer. Registration is required; a $10-15 donation is suggested. 100% of funds raised benefit Siteman Cancer Center and Washington University and St. Louis Children's Hospitals.

Music From A Tent

Sunday, August 9th | 3:00pm-8:00pm

Music from a Tent is a free, community-driven DJ series held in the grassy bowl on the north side of Benton Park, organized by local creatives Illtemperament, Umami, and Field Theory. The event features DJs spinning a mix of digital and vinyl music, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own food, drinks, and picnic gear.


Pedal The Cause Training Ride

Sunday, August 23rd | 7:00am check-in, 7:30am start time

(The Hub at the District of St. Louis, 17057 N Outer 40 Rd, Chesterfield, MO)

This training ride is presented by Pedal the Cause in preparation for Pedal the Cause 2026, with course options of 15.5, 23, or 36 miles for all skill levels. After the ride, riders can hang out in The Hub STL's outdoor space for live music or head inside 4 Hands Brewery for a Pedal the Cause City Wide. Registration is required; a $10-15 donation is suggested, with proceeds again benefiting Siteman Cancer Center and area children's hospitals.

Stoner Cinema: Talladega Nights

Thursday, August 27th | 8:00pm-10:00pm

(Arkadin Cinema & Bar, 5228 Gravois Ave., St. Louis)

This outdoor screening celebrates the 20th anniversary of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, and is part of Arkadin's Stoner Cinema series sponsored by Proper Cannabis and Daily Driver. Tickets are $9; seating outside is first-come, first-served, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chair. In case of bad weather, the screening moves indoors.

Saturday, August 29th | 9:00pm-1:30am

A night of live music from Jon Dent and RAHB, with local support acts at The Tree Room in Kansas City.
